What You'll Do

The Sales Operations Manager will provide process ownership and operational support to a worldwide sales organization including but not limited to contract negotiations, hiring / on-boarding, RFP/RFI process management, design and implementation of sales programs, forecasting, detailed weekly metrics and trending analysis from salesforce.com, field sales support.

Responsibilities
  • Lead contract negotiations for all end user and partner accounts
  • Manage, design and provide analytics for RFP process
  • Leadership role with commercial management on quoting of lead- times, product allocation, new product availability, programs
  • Leadership role with commercial deal analysis on non-standard pricing, margin analysis and provide direction/recommendations to all sales VPs and reporting directors regarding service and software guideline, compliance of revenue recognition guidelines and all other accounting constraints, program guidelines.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with all customer contractual obligations
  • Leadership role in the creation, tracking and reporting of all stages in the sales cycle.
  • Develop, rollout and training on business procedures (execute sales programs)
  • Develop a world class training and on-boarding program
  • Manage sales comp plans to ensure incremental improvements to cost of sale
  • Create and manage product, deal and vertical sales forecasting
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience in sales operations, field sales, or international business
    Excellent process development and management skills
  • Self-motivated and persistent with excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to set priorities and execute independently
  • Demonstrated field sales experience
  • Expert experience with Salesforce.com
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
  • Proven track record supporting a global sales organization including a deep understanding of the solution selling and enterprise sales cycle.
  • Strong negotiations skills with large enterprises
  • Seasoned leadership of progressive and change management
  • Knowledge of the CRM/Web 2.0/Social Media industry
  • Strong Microsoft Power Point and Excel expert
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and effectively work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
