Jim Drill
SVP, WW Sales & Service
Jim serves as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Lithium, responsible for driving Lithium’s comprehensive global sales and professional services strategies.
He joins Lithium with over 23 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development throughout the high tech industry. Most recently, Jim served as BMC Software’s GVP of Americas, including Latin America and Public Sector Sales, where he led a 400 person staff carrying a $300 million quota, and spearheaded the re-engineering of a complex enterprise sales organization. This rebuilding occurred while not only maintaining revenue, but doubling ASPs, tripling the number of $1 million+ deals, and achieving record sales growth.
Prior to BMC, Jim was VP of Worldwide Sales at Imperva, the leader in Application and Database Security. As the first VP of Worldwide Sales, Jim oversaw the transition of the sales organization to an Enterprise Solution provider and growth to market leader. At Imperva, Jim led a 10-fold growth in revenue from 2005 through 2008, while growing the installed base from 100 customers to over 700 customers in 35 countries.
Previously, Jim has held sales leadership roles at IMlogic, MedSource Technologies, and Parametric Technology. He began his career at IBM.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he also played hockey. He splits his time between California and Wisconsin where he enjoys time with family, exercising, sports, and hunting.
