Lithium Technologies Welcomes New Vice President of Customer Operations

Paul A. Wescott brings strategic customer service experience to Lithium's management team

Emeryville, CA - August 31, 2005 – Lithium Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand customer interaction channels and communities, is pleased to announce that Paul Wescott has joined its management team as Vice President of Customer Operations.

As Lithium Technologies continues to gain customers in the sales and support, media and entertainment markets, new management with strong customer service and strategic planning skills are required. With so many new and long-time customers, Lithium required someone who could direct the company's important customer operations department and lead the company in the customer experience arena.

Paul Wescott has worked in the areas of operations, sales and customer support for nearly 25 years. He brings strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of high-tech strategy and management of high-growth companies to Lithium.

Prior to joining Lithium, Paul was Managing Director at Le Channel LLC, a strategy and marketing consulting firm serving the global telecommunications industry. Previously, he was Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing at JetQue, Inc. a privately-held enterprise software company providing secure mobile solutions to the Fortune 500. In 1999, Paul was appointed COO of RateXchange, an online commodities exchange, where he led the company from start-up stage to a public company with a $1 billion market capitalization. He was also the CEO at TimeShift, a Unified Communications company providing telecommunications providers with an on-demand platform for deploying and billing enhanced services. During his 18-year career at Sprint Communications, Paul held a variety of management positions in operations, customer support, sales and marketing in both the business and consumer markets.
