EMERYVILLE, Calif. – March 26, 2008 – Lithium Technologies today announced its selection as a recipient of the 2008 WizKids Award, presented by Beagle Research Group, LLC. The award is presented annually to a select group of emerging companies that provide business solutions designed to advance new or improved business processes. Lithium was the only community provider selected.

In addition to the award, Beagle produces a report that details the significance of each winning company's solution through a case study highlighting one customer's experience. For Lithium, Beagle wrote about Linksys, which uses Lithium's SaaS community offering to support its global customers in six languages. In the wake of the Hengchun earthquake of Christmas 2006, when Linksys's Asian support facilities were offline, Linksys's support community saved the day by absorbing a giant traffic spike and answering questions customers who had purchased home networking gear for Christmas. Many of those customers became regular visitors to the community and continue to contribute.

The Linksys case study highlights the fusion of technology and expertise that Lithium provides.
