Lithium Technologies Announces Key Additions to Executive Team Advancing Lithium's Leadership in Social CRM
Emeryville – 7 June, 2010 – Lithium Technologies, the leading provider of Social CRM solutions to power the customer network, today announced the appointment of two new hires to its executive team. Katy Keim has assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Doug Jones is Lithium’s new Senior Vice President of Corporate and Business Development. Lithium’s latest strategic hires will enhance their leadership bench and provide opportunities to develop strategies and programs to support their continued momentum and growth in Social CRM.
Visionary Marketing Leadership
At Lithium, Katy will lead all strategic marketing activities for the company including branding, positioning, communications, go-to-market strategy, and customer acquisition programs. Prior to joining Lithium, Katy served as Executive Vice President of Marketing at ServiceSource, a global leader in service revenue solutions for the high-tech and healthcare industries. During her tenure, Katy was integral to the company’s success in growing from $7M to $100M+ in revenues and extending its global footprint to over five service centers and 700 employees. Her previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Ecommerce at Intraware.
“Katy is a visionary marketing leader and she has a stellar track record for bringing innovative solutions to businesses,” said Lyle Fong, CEO and Co-Founder of Lithium Technologies. “She has truly set the standard for leading companies in strategic branding, positioning, and communications. We look forward to the great business and marketing enhancements Katy will bring to our company, and building the organization out with great people.”
Maximizing Growth Opportunities in Business Development & Alliances
As SVP of Corporate and Business Development, Doug will lead the Alliances team in identifying, managing, and maximizing the business impact of Lithium’s partner ecosystem and programs, driving corporate strategy and inorganic growth initiatives. Prior to his appointment at Lithium, Jones held several senior level positions in a ten-year tenure at Interwoven, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise content management solutions, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, Vice President of Business Development, and Vice President of North American Sales. Jones also served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence for BridgeScale Partners, a technology-focused, growth equity fund in Menlo Park. His previous experience includes Sales and Marketing management roles at Electronics for Imaging.
”Doug has extensive venture and business development leadership as well as a proven track record in leading companies to generate high-quality deal flows and managing deal analysis, due diligence process, and final investment decisions,” said Fong. “I am confident that Doug’s 23 years of leadership in business development will help guide our team into continued success, and we are pleased to welcome him to our team.”
Strong Momentum and Recognized Industry Leader
Earlier this year, Lithium has announced more than 100 percent growth in annual recurring revenue for 2009, demonstrating the company’s leadership in the Social CRM and community platform marketplaces. Additionally, Lithium acquired Scout Labs, a leader in social media monitoring, to create the first Social CRM platform that empowers companies to listen, engage, and act on their social customers’ conversations across the web. Coupled with its recent Series C funding, rapid customer expansion, thought leadership in Social CRM, executive team additions, and new product introductions are all propelling tremendous growth and momentum for Lithium in 2010.
