Lithium Technologies to Host "Empowered" Webcast with Josh Bernoff and FICO
Emeryville – 16 September, 2010 – Lithium Technologies, the leading provider of Social CRM solutions to power the customer network, today announced that the company will host a webcast for interactive marketers on Wednesday, September 29, entitled “How to Achieve Success with the ‘Empowered’ Social Customer.” Through mobile and online, customers significantly influence each other about all types of brand products and perceptions.
This webcast will cover this and other topics from the new book, “Empowered,” co-authored by Josh Bernoff, who is also co-author of the BusinessWeek bestseller “Groundswell”, including:

Josh Bernoff – Senior Vice President, Idea Development – Forrester Research, Inc.
Josh is responsible for identifying, developing, and promoting some of the company's most influential and forward-looking ideas and is the co-author of the BusinessWeek best-selling book Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies (Harvard Business Press, 2008), a comprehensive analysis of corporate strategy for dealing with social technologies. Groundswell has won critical acclaim: Abbey Klaasen of Advertising Age picked it as "the best book ever written on marketing and media," and Amazon's editors put it in the top 10 business books of the year. In 2008, the Society for New Communications Research picked Josh and his Groundswell coauthor Charlene Li as "visionaries of the year."
Barry Paperno – Consumer Affairs Manager – FICO
Barry serves as Consumer Affairs Manager for FICO (Fair Isaac Corporation) and Community Manager for the MyFICO Forums online community. He has advised consumers and businesses on FICO credit scoring since 1995. Before joining FICO, Barry managed the Bay Area consumer assistance offices for Experian Information Solutions. Barry holds a bachelor’s of science in business administration from California State University, East Bay.
Katy Keim – Chief Marketing Officer – Lithium Technologies
Katy leads all strategic marketing activities for the company including branding, positioning, communications, go-to-market strategy, and customer acquisition programs. Prior to joining Lithium, Katy was the Executive Vice President of Marketing at ServiceSource, a global leader in service revenue solutions for the high-tech and healthcare industries. During her tenure, Katy was integral to the company’s success in growing from $7M to $100M+ in revenues and extending its global footprint to more than five service centers and 700 employees.
