Lithium has been launching and helping our customers grow successful communities for over 10 years. Through our unique and extensive experience we have developed a highly refined launch process. No two Lithium customer communities are alike. With the proven Lithium launch process we adjust to your unique requirements, while at the same time providing you with the best of the Lithium framework to establish the strongest possible foundation for your success.
Launch Services
Lithium’s launch services are designed to provide you all the necessary resources for launching a community and to establish the right foundations for its on-going success. The launch itself may seem daunting for those who are delving into community for the first time, but using the Lithium framework ensures the project can be completed quickly and effectively. The process itself incorporates three tracks designed to make the process as effective as possible:
- Community Management Track: In this track we focus on your strategic planning and the corresponding configuration components critical for success. In addition, we address training for the two most important roles involved in building your community: a Community Manager, and one or more Moderators.
Community Management Planning – Community Structure – Online training - Design Track: In this track we develop your community’s look and feel, incorporating branding and navigation elements. The framework we follow allows for the development of one initial working prototype based on design assets provided by you, and two subsequent revisions. Recognizing that no two Lithium customers are alike, we are absolutely prepared to adjust this process for unique requirements.
Design Discovery – Prototype Development (3 versions) – Final Prototype - Technical Track: In this track we address any specific technical requirements for the launch specified in your contract. Each of the items defined below can be included in a launch, and will require its own unique implementation process (see Solution Engineering).
Single Sign-On (SSO) – Data Migration – Application Integration – Customization
Solutions Engineering
Building showcase communities, driving the usage of new capabilities, and promoting community best practices are key objectives for Lithium. Our Solutions Engineering Team can assist you with the following services:
- User Interface Customization: The Lithium standard platform includes extensive configuration settings available to you to tailor your community’s user interface to your specific requirements. There are times, however, when your desired end user experience may require unique platform changes. These types of customizations are not uncommon, and Lithium’s Solution Engineering team is here to help.
- Migration: We have years of experience migrating community content from other commercial and open source systems. You can migrate over your existing community content and take advantage of Lithium’s enterprise features and hosting with little or no disruption to your existing implementation.
- CRM and Enterprise System Integration: Lithium also has significant experience integrating communities with existing technology environments such as with single sign-on (SSO), CRM systems, and Web analytics tools. You can engage our Solutions Engineering Team for a wide variety of your integration needs.
Education
We know that training is a critical component of any community, so Lithium provides a series of courses for various project team members. In addition to hands-on exercises for the “how-to” mechanics, the courses incorporate Lithium best practices based on our many years of experience deploying and observing communities. Our goal is to help you build successful communities from planning and design through implementation, management, and optimization.
