As General Counsel, Mike is responsible for the full range of Lithium’s legal operations and compliance globally.
Mike has over twenty years of legal and business experience in Silicon Valley, working with and advising companies ranging from startups to large publicly-traded corporations.
Prior to Lithium, Mike served as General Counsel of DemandTec, Inc., a SaaS provider of merchandising optimization software to retailers worldwide, seeing it through its initial public offering and ongoing operations as a publicly-traded company, and its eventual sale to IBM. Prior to that, Mike held various legal and corporate development roles at Ariba, Inc. (most recently as Associate General Counsel) and Infoseek Corp. (through its acquisition by Disney in 1999), through which he gained significant experience in public company corporate governance, M&A, strategic transactions and securities law, among other things. Mike began his legal career as a corporate associate in the law firm Fenwick & West, where he was primarily focused on company and underwriter representation in public equity offerings.
Mike holds his undergraduate degree in physics from Rutgers University, and his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law.
