Emeryville, CA - August 1, 2012 – Lithium Technologies, the leader in Social Customer Experience, today announced it has appointed business strategist and technology marketing visionary, Geoffrey Moore, to its board of directors. Moore brings expertise and insight in market development and strategies that will further strengthen Lithium’s leadership team as the company continues its rapid growth.

Moore, founder of The Chasm Group and venture partner at Mohr Davidow, joins Lithium’s board immediately. Decades of experience advising disruptive tech companies on innovative market strategies have made Moore a leading technology strategist.

At the Lithium Network Conference 2012, Lithium unveiled its new Social Tornado™ strategic service framework, which was developed in collaboration with Moore.

Moore is the founder of The Chasm Group and currently chairman emeritus of TCG Advisors and venture partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures. Earlier in his career, he served as principal and partner at Regis McKenna, Inc., a leading high tech marketing strategy and communications company, and for the decade prior, a sales and marketing executive in the software industry. He currently serves on the boards of Akamai and AudienceScience. Moore holds a bachelor's degree in literature from Stanford University and a doctorate in literature from the University of Washington.
