Lithium Recognized as a Leader in Social Depth Platforms by Independent Research Firm
Lithium's Community and Social Platform Receives Top Rank in Current Offering and Strategy categories
SAN FRANCISCO - July 9, 2013 - Lithium Technologies, the leader in Social Customer Experience, today announced that it has been recognized by Forrester Research, Inc. as a leader in the “The Forrester Wave™: Social Depth Platforms, Q3 2013” report. The report evaluated select community and social depth marketing technology providers on their ability to help turn a brand’s website into a social hub.
“Lithium Technologies enhances its social depth offerings, leaving others in the dust,” according to the report.
Lithium ranked No. 1 in the current offering category—the Lithium Social Customer Experience Platform™—and received the highest score in strategy among the companies that Forrester invited to participate in the report that evaluated technology providers against 57 comprehensive evaluation criteria. Lithium also received the highest rank in the leadership category.
"Customers find the Lithium community platform to be marketer-friendly and intuitive, with lots of out-of-the-box features such as influencer identification and gamification. Customers also praise Lithium for being a ‘true partner’ and give the vendor high marks for its strategic, professional and management services,” the report said.
“Lithium continues to make its vision of providing the ‘one social platform’ a reality for marketers through its acquisition of Social Dynamx in 2012 and continued enhancements to admin features and customizable community capabilities,” Forrester said earlier in the report.
The Forrester report highlights the importance for brands to turn their websites into content-rich destinations given the ability of social activity to drive site traffic and the strong influence of user-generated content on buying behavior.
Lithium President and Chief Executive Officer Rob Tarkoff said: “Hundreds of Lithium customers—like Aruba Networks, Barclaycard, Sephora and Sony Electronics—are creating social hubs that radically transform their businesses and actively engage their customers to get real results. We’re honored that Forrester has named Lithium a leader."
The latest recognition of Lithium as a leader comes as the company continues to significantly advance its vision and strategy. During the recent Lithium Network Conference (LiNC) 2013, Tarkoff provided brands with a blueprint to drive a transformational change through Social Customer Experience. Lithium also unveiled significant technology breakthroughs, including its next-generation Lithium Social Intelligence™ analytics software and advanced strategies for brands to differentiate themselves and unlock the real power of social.
