SAN FRANCISCO – September 25, 2014 – Lithium Technologies today announced the lineup of its Advertising Week 2014 panel titled, “Turn the World into Your Publisher.” Adweek’s Garett Sloane will be the moderator and panelists include hip hop DJ/musician and digital guru Funk Flex, founder of Klout Joe Fernandez, COO and partner of United Entertainment Group (UEG) David Caruso and Billboard Breakout Recording Artist Corey Andrew.
The Advertising Week panel will occur during the “Influence 2.0” track on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 2:45-3:30 p.m. EDT at the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City. The panel will explore why celebrities and marketers need to identify and nurture relationships with the people who can make or break their brand – their superfans. The panel includes Funk Flex, a legendary musician who has catapulted his brand into the digital era; up-and-coming artist Corey Andrew, who creates compelling content for fans and brands; and Joe Fernandez, the founder of Klout who helps brands connect with social influencers as well as David Caruso of UEG, who helps brands reach influencers through the power of celebrity.
“This is a must-see panel with the best and brightest in the industry,” said Katy Keim CMO of Lithium Technologies. “It’s no secret that your brand message is carried (and sometimes created) by your fans or detractors on social media. The panel will discuss how social is a powerful enabler of user-generated content (UGC) and how to leverage it for authentic earned media that truly engages your most passionate fans.”
Advertising Week is the world’s premiere annual gathering of marketing and communications leaders each year in New York City.
